Do say to the grieving parents - "I love you!" Do say to the grieving parents - "I am here to listen when you want to talk about your precious baby." Do say to the grieving parents - "Can I watch the other children so you can rest." Do say to the grieving parents - "Can I clean the house for you while you rest." Do say to the grieving parents - I will pass your child's story along to everyone I know. This could save the lives and other children and give the parents a purpose. Do mention the child. Ask questions. What was his/her favorite food, toy, movie, game. Do offer to go to the child's grave with the parent. If they don't want to go, go yourself and leave a flower or something that lets the parents know someone else has been there. Do mark down the child's birthday and heaven day and call/send a note to the parent letting them know you are thinking of them. Do write in the child's memorial guestbook when you think of them. It could be a small light on a very dark day. Do say to the grieving parents - "Can I do anything for you?" |

Do offer to walk or exercise with the parent. Exercise works wonders for grief. Do pray for the parents. Pray for comfort, strength and guidance.
"... it is not the will of your Father which is in Heaven, that one of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14
