Our twin daughter Cheyenne was strangled to death by window blinds June 12, 2002. When Cheyenne died we began looking for answers both biblical and secular. When we came across the verse, Matthew 18:14, "Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish" - we knew that our spiritual answers would be found in the bible but we are still seeking answers from the world. |
| A few weeks after losing Cheyenne Rose, we searched for some meaning spiritually and secularly. As we found more families that lost their children from cords we couldn't stand knowing more children were going to die. We realized as children were dying every 2 weeks from window cords that these were not freak accidents, but a terrible epidemic that has taken the lives of many children over the years. We founded Parents for Window Blind Safety. We know and understand that her death is serving a purpose, to educate parents on the dangers of window covering cords and saving the lives of other children all over the world. |
